This indoor camera uses a 1/4" color CCD
420-line video sensor and a 3.6mm precision fixed focus lens. A built-in digital
signal processing chipset maintains picture quality during day
and night, when the automated infrared system (under photo-sensor
control) turns on this security camera's IR LEDs, which enable it to
light up a pitch black room as bright as day (from the cameras
perspective).
Auto-switching is the ability of the
camera to switch between night mode and day mode without
user intervention. This ability is standard in all of our
cameras. Video at night (in infrared mode) is
black-and-white. In daylight, or when available light is
high enough to render color images, then color video mode
returns.
This indoor security camera is a great solution for
monitoring movement inside buildings like nursing homes and adult/juvenile care
facilities. Placement in storage rooms will cut down on
unauthorized access. Put them in stairwells to cut down on
trespassing, loitering and unwanted visitors. With it's built-in
infrared array you can depend on clear, sharp video with or
without the lights on, making this a great all-purpose general
security camera.
