We took our popular ECL-640 camera and boosted its specs with a super high resolution video sensor and a video processor packed with the latest features.

This camera uses an auto-iris enabled 5-50mm varifocal lens to bring images up close and tight to a 700+ TV line Sony™ EXView color CCD video sensor.  Imaging data goes straight into a state of the art video processor. Picture quality can be adjusted by the user or installer using dozens of enhancements found in the on-screen display (OSD) menu. The enhancements include:

• Intelligent backlight compensation
• High light compensation
• True day/night operation
• 2D/3D noise reduction
• Adaptive tone reproduction

During the night fifty-three IR LEDs cast a 120' long beam of invisible infrared light, which is far enough to make placement of this camera highly flexible. Enhanced range also means the camera can pick up images beyond this range, if anything is there to see. A mechanical IR filter helps keep images in focus during the day and night, eliminating IR "focus shift".

The hardened, metal case is designed to resist vandalism and tampering, making this camera good for indoor or outdoor locations.
