This outdoor bullet camera maintains
superior picture quality using a full range of technology and
programming enhancements. A 1/3”
Sony CCD video sensor produces crystal clear video at 600-tv
lines or greater. Infrared LEDs provide the ability to "see" in
0.0 LUX (monochrome mode). Slow shutter speed can be set using
the on-screen menu, with sens-up settings selectable from double
to 256-times normal light capture mode.
Optics & Imaging
Imaging starts with optics, and a
poor lens will make poor video regardless of the support
circuitry. This camera uses an auto-iris enabled precision
ground glass varifocal lens. Focal point can be adjusted
from 2.8 to 11mm, and the adjustments can be done while the
camera hangs in place thanks to two external adjustment
knobs (zoom/focus).
On Screen Menu Selections are Easy
The OSD provides over 40 individual
parameters effecting camera operation and image shaping.
Most of the parameters have several configuration settings,
which makes this camera highly flexible in any surveillance
environment.
Programming is easy. Using the
control nub, which is attached to the cable, you can toggle
through all of the menus and options. It even provides
built-in motion detection and privacy zone masking.

Low Light and No Light Operations
The camera switches automatically
from day-mode to night-mode operation (unless you've
programmed it otherwise using the OSD settings). An array of
infrared LEDs allow it to pick up images in 0.0 LUX.
Sens-up settings allow it to pick up color images in very
low light by adjusting the slow shutter speed settings (all
the way up to 256-times normal light capture).
