This infrared equipped outdoor dome camera has an impact
resistant dome and a tough aluminum alloy one-piece base.
It uses a Sony Super HAD II CCD video sensor and advanced signal
processing to provide the user with video images at 750-TV lines
or greater.
"IR mode" is automatic and turns on when the light level drops
to a preset threshold. You can adjust the IR levels and
threshold using controls inside the camera and with the OSD
menu.
SMART LED Control
SMART LED control is built into the camera's video processing
chipset. It detects the
amount of infrared light on the subject and turns IR LEDS on/off
as necessary to keep video quality high. To little or too much IR
(washout) is never a problem with
this camera.
Many Features
This CCTV security camera has many
features designed to make life easy for professionals. It has an
aspherical varifocal lens and a mechanical IR filter which work
in concert to produce great video in day and night without the
need for focus adjustment ( or "tweaking") since no IR focus
shift can be seen.
An RS485 input is provided for serial
communications with a compatible DVR. You can change OSD and
setup parameters remotely, using the built-in functions that
the DVR uses to communicate with PTZ cameras.
An internal balun makes it easy if
you are connecting the camera to a UTP cable, which is often
the case in large and sprawling installations.
Installation is fast and easy thanks
to an internal video connector that lets you hook up a
portable test monitor so the installer can aim and focus the
camera without resorting to multiple trips up a scaffold or
ladder.
OSD Menu
The on-screen display menu lets you
set up advanced operating features that include backlight
compensation, high light compensation, digital wide dynamic
range (DWDR), digital defog slow shutter and day/night
operation. It also uses PrePro, which sets all OSD controls
to a professional setting that is good to go in most
surveillance environments. PrePro is a huge time saver.
