This mini color camera is designed for hidden camera projects. It's an indoor camera, so if you want your kit to go outside you'll need to weatherproof it (doing so will void the warranty of this camera, by the way). 

Replaceable Lens

An ECL-554P is shown at left. It comes equipped with a 3.6mm pinhole style lens.

The ECL-554 has a regular, non-pinhole lens.

Aside from the difference in the lens, both models are identical.
